Roll the Dice for a Great Cause! Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria-Noontime Presents Bunco Bonanza 2025

Fun-Filled Fundraiser Features Games, Food, and Community Spirit

SANTA MARIA, CA – August 4 - Get ready to roll the dice and make a difference! The Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria-Noontime invites the community to join their exciting Bunco Bonanza fundraiser on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Minami Community Center, 600 W Enos, Santa Maria.

Whether you're a seasoned Bunco player or have never touched a die, everyone is welcome at this inclusive community event. First-time players shouldn't worry – we will guide newcomers through the simple, fun-to-learn game that's all about luck, laughter, and good company.

"Bunco Bonanza is more than just a game – it's about bringing our community together while supporting local youth and families," said club member Elaine Guzman. "In 2024-25, we took 100-125 local children on our annual Back to School Shopping Spree, awarded $42,470 in scholarships to 33 graduating high school seniors, and honored over 80 students at our CSF Recognition Dinner. We also helped feed 100+homeless individuals monthly at the Good Samaritan Shelter and built 63 beds for children in need through our Sleep in Heavenly Peace partnership."

Event Highlights:

  • Tickets just $40 (includes delicious lunch)
  • Exciting prizes for most Buncos, most wins, most losses, and 50/50 drawing
  • Wine, beer, and mimosas available for purchase
  • Bake sale featuring homemade treats
  • Fun atmosphere perfect for friends, families, and community members of all backgrounds

The funds raised through Bunco Bonanza directly support the club's extensive community programs, including their monthly service at the Good Samaritan Shelter where they feed 100+ housing unstable individuals, their annual Back to School Shopping Spree serving 100-125 local children, scholarship programs that awarded $42,470 to 33 students in 2024-25, and partnerships with organizations like Children’s Resource & Referral, Allan Hancock College Foundation and SMOOTH. The club also supports five different youth leadership programs including Key Club, Aktion Club, Builder's Club, Circle K, and K-Kids clubs throughout the Santa Maria area.

"Our goal is to raise $15,000 this year, which will make a tremendous impact on youth programs throughout Santa Maria," said Donna Beal, Club President. "Every ticket sold helps us continue our mission of supporting local children and families."
